Previously I was a lifeboat on the Queen Mary
We're blessed with the most extraordinary collection of boats dotted along the coastline around here.
In the 1950s during the housing shortage all sorts of boats were turned into accommodation by converting the hulls into rooms as well as adding to them on top.
Believe it or not this metal hull is what remains of one of the life boats on the Queen Mary. It is a shadow of its former self as rust has got hold of it, but to me its absolutely fascinating.
