Happy Birthday DINAH!

We were invited over to our friend Dinah's cake cutting and birthday drink today.
She has retired from a lifetime of working in the National Health Service. She will be missed by all the children and families who she has supported so well all these years.

This wonderful cake, was baked for Dinah by our friend and neighbour Maxine was one of our Village hall fundraising promises at our recent auction. It was completely delicious as was the pimk champagne!


Our temperatures have been in the high 20's today with blue skies and sunshine all day. This is helping us become acclimatised to the weather in our beloved Dalyan where we are heading off to next week.

Carers are coming to live-in and to look after the 'Golden Girls'. Both our mothers prefer to live at home amongst their familiar belongings.
