The Pig

St Oswalds' Church, Winwick.
When the church was being built at the bottom of the hill, every night the pig pushed the stones up to the top of the hill. They decided that the pig had a point and built the church where it is today, and has stood for about 7 centuries. (Temporary closure due to death watch beetle).
Situated on the A49 at Winwick, near Warrington and close to the M6 Croft interchange.
I was christened here and my parents and grandparents were married here.
