Red Kites.
Red Kites have been reintroduced to this area after many years, and they have settled and are breeding well.
A farm has a feeding area for them once a day and many people gather to watch them.
They circle in the sky, the numbers of them building up, until a lady goes out with two buckets of food. It is raw meat, which she scatters over a large area, and then puts some on a table. The Kites never stop circling and wheeling through the sky, but now and again they swoop down and scoop up a piece of meat with out stopping their flight. They only take the meat from the table when there is none left on the ground.
It was a privilege to watch them.
I'm afraid this shot is not wonderful as I don't have a big enough lens to do them justice.
