Whooper Swan

This morning was a bit windy so instead of the lake I went to kayaing on a small river my friend recommended me. It was great, very tranquil place. I saw a cuckoo. It was sitting an top of a small tree just by the river. It came so suddenly I didn't manage to take any pictures until it moved further away in a worse spot. This whooper swan (laulujoutsen) was maybe too lazy to fly away and let me get rather close. However, you can see it's swimming pretty hard. I also saw a fox. It looked me a second on the bank of the river and run away before I could even reach my camera. Nice morning.
