The Big Thicket

Drove out to the Big Thicket this morning with Nuria, Ted, my dad, and Ruby (Kendall & Cat's new puppy) to see the pitcher plants and other carnivorous flora.
It was pretty cool. I didn't know we even had carnivorous plants indigenous to this area. My dad bought a bunch of them when he visited me in Oregon a few years ago but they all ended up dying outside.
Ruby is a pretty sweet pup. I love her.
