She's Back!
I was starting to think that the deer who decided to sleep right outside our dining room was never going to come back. However, I was wrong. While everyone else was still asleep this morning, I was straightening up the house and just happened to look out the window, and there she was! This time, she was in a slightly deeper corner of our little fenced in area.
The picture isn't great because I couldn't get an angle through the window that didn't include a reflection. If I wanted to avoid the reflection, there was no way to avoid the big bucket of chlorine tabs.
Side note - I think that little area of our yard must be a wildlife birthing center, no matter how messy it is. Last summer, we had a bird make a nest in a dirty old bucket on the rail where the chlorine tabs currently reside.
