Greens

The Glen has gone from early Spring to warm Summer in a few days, and there are intense shades of green everywhere. This is at the bottom of my garden, looking down towards the loch and across to the hills. The deep , a times almost blue /black, , green of the small forestry plantation opposite my house (I used a photograph of it in winter as my contribution to a Forestry Commission exhibition a couple of years ago) always fascinates me. Today it is counterpointed by the small birches now almost fully in leaf, and these much more mature trees below my house, one of which is flecked with a bloom of white.
