Owls Clover on the Preston Falls Trail

See yesterday's blip for the description of the start of this backpack trip.

The four of us arose early to a nice day, had breakfast, packed up, and started out on the same trail we had come in on the day before. What a difference a day makes! The sun was out and we took time to enjoy the flowers. These are some along the way.

When we reached the parking lot, we had lunch and then drove to Cherry Lake just to see the flowers along the road. Then we drove to Evergreen Lodge where we were to meet the rest of our hiking group. Fifteen women were able to make the trip to enjoy the area around Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. We socialized before and during dinner at the Lodge and spent the night in luxury (compared to a backpack camp anyway) in four cabins.
