Sweetheart

Managed to get yesterday over with. The first anniversary of my dad's death. Daughter no 1 and I went to visit the grave and had our own wee silent moment! then we went looking at gravestones, my mother and I had looked at some a few weeks after his death, little did we know she would follow him less than 4 months later!
Anyhow I had an idea of what she liked, boy are they expensive! over £1000.

Today was spent with ankle snappers in the morning, God some of them have attitude! shame they can't channel it in the right direction.

Finally came down to Glasgow as my friends mother died and her remains were going into the church this evening. Apparently she had to fight tooth and claw to get this simple traditional thing done, but no priest! I ask you, these guys don't hold down a full time job yet he couldn't find the time to receive the remains. Not only that but he would not allow the family to make a eulogy (been there, had to fight to get one an my dad's funeral) and to make a difficult time even more difficult, he couldn't or wouldn't guarantee an organist to play at the service tomorrow! and churches wonder why their congregations are shrinking!
I used to associate churches with christianity!

Going to the funeral tomorrow and again its at 9.30am because thats when he has his Sat mass. Afraid if that had been me I would have fought as indeed I did last year!

Hope the weather is nice and I might be tempted to get a few pictures now that I got my sensor cleaned. Can't wait till I finally buy a new lens.
Took Freda down with me and left the two menaces at home. Just back from my pals and she made me sit in her garden sipping Sweetheart stout and watching ants crawl everywhere. Hate sitting in open places as I don't like bugs, however a wee stout and a small wisnovka and I was reasonably happy.

good night all blippers
