The owl man

This gentleman is known locally as 'The owl man' (original, eh?).

He is often to be found sitting on this bench in our local high street proudly displaying a selection of his owls.

Today he had a 6 week old baby owl with him, he explained that it is related to the little owl perched on the back of the banch. I got some lovely shots of the baby owl snuggling into the cuddly toy.

Today was a BIG day for me in my blipping world - it was the first time that I had asked someone if I could take their photo. Being naturally quite shy this took quite some courage but I had learnt my lesson earlier in the week when I had a rather unhappy man from Western Power chase after my car having caught me photographing him without permission!
