The Golden Goose

This charitable resale shop serves two communities.

Most importantly the first community is a low-income, high unemployment area which benefits from high quality, reasonably priced merchandise. The second community is a 5000 home retirement community.

The Golden Goose provides an outlet for all the surplus goods that families have accumulated over the years. Since the average age of the second community is mid to high seventy-ish, it is not surprising to see ski boots, roller blades, tennis racquets, old cameras, canes and walkers, coffee makers, bread makers, antique china, tea services, tons of books, computers, nice furniture, and even teddy bears as you can see in this photo.

Additionally. the second community provides experienced, knowledgeable volunteers.

The resulting proceeds are used to fund Community Services. It is a Win Win.
