African Grey Hornbill, Tockus nasutus

I saw him, flying past my bedroom window, quite early this morning. He landed in the tree across the street at the neighbour's house. Lillian and I ran to the poolroom, pulled up the blinds and opened a window, slóóówly and carefully!!

I got one shot, and off he went!! Arrrrggggghhh! But thank goodness. it was not too bad a picture, don't you think?

It was the first time ever I've seen him here! I think I identified more than 30 birds in our safety complex in just over a year!
