tootling

I had one of those wonderful moments today of looking at the garden and realising this is what is meant to look like. It is full of bright coloured kids stuff. All plastic and primary coloured, all the things I always thought I would hate. But I love to see it, it is a family garden. Something that at times we never thought we would have and seeing Alfie tootling around it with all his birthday pressies and watering the plants was heaven.

Since we finally managed to have him and then enjoy him our house has really come alive, we have always been told it feels like a proper home but now it really is what it was built to be, a family home, perfect.

Even with about a million pairs of pants drying (potty training gone a bit pear shaped with Alfies cold and lots of water being drunk!!) it is our family home.
