The dark, forboding sky
For a change Woofer Jnr and I walked along Chichester Harbour this morning. The farmer only ploughed this field a couple of weeks ago and already the sweetcorn is beginning to show itself about the ground. I love the straight crop lines which can only be appreciated when the plants are young - soon their leaves will hid the neat rows.
The weather was being rather interesting as behind us we had a dazzling sun; in front, towards the west, was a forboding dark sky; while Hayling Island, to the south, was hidden by a sea fret.
