Edinburgh's Castles

Today was always going to be a difficult Blip day. I was at a meeting in the capital of Blipdom, Auld Blippie.

All of it's buildings from palaces to tenements and all of it's iconic landmarks have been beautifully blipped by those with more talent and a better eye than me.

I set myself the goal of trying to find something a bit different and in the end my image includes probably the most photographed landmark in the capital.

In Castle street an artist was making a sand sculpture of the castle. I tried to take a shot of her work with the real thing in the background
