Pretty in Pink

This is a type of cactus, a much larger version of the common Christmas Cactus. My friend and neighbour has one growing in her porch. A couple of years ago a leaf broke off her plant and was literally kicking around her porch for over a month, well battered and trodden on. Eventually I picked it up and it was hanging around my utility room for a few more weeks and then I planted it. It has rewarded me with an absolutely stunning display of flowers! Just amazing!
