Day 1 - Seattle

Finally got here after a lengthy journey. Good flights on American Airlines though - a half empty 8hr flight (or half full???) from London to Chicago, meaning we could spread out - a mention of Gregg the steward who was BRILLIANT - most chatty! Followed by a very smooth transfer in the Windy City, and then a 4 hr flight to Seattle.

Checked in to the Hotel 1000 - WOW! What a great place. Upgraded from a very standard room to a vast suite - living area, bedroom and huge bathroom. Thank you to Casey on front desk!!!!

Tired, but will head out for a light supper before crashing into bed. Seattle to be explored tomorrow.
