No change
Summer finally arrived in Porty today judging by the number of people filling the beach.
I was stuck inside on a course, barely managing to stay awake, though I did manage a brief trip to the prom at lunchtime for a sit on the wall and a 99 icecream. £1.60, tsk tsk. We watched a lady struggling to put up a windbreak and it reminded me of a 1950s postcard. It also made me think that this place hasn't really changed over the years. Here it is a bit bigger.
Sadly I had no other time to dwell on such matters and then it was off to a home match and a trouncing.
Top cake tonight: I was hoping to say it was my very own courgette cake but it wasn't too happy about being transported around in a hot car and reacted accordingly by sliding against the box it was in. So, I grudgingly accept that the Victoria sponge with strawberries and cream was the winner.
