Make hay while the sun shines

And the sun certainly did shine today, what a wonderful treat for the last day of the boys' long weekend break.

Matthew went to a pal's house (he never seems to be home, pretty soon I'll be telling him that he "treats this place like a hotel")

So I took Andrew and George to East Links Family Park this afternoon and it was a scorcher. Watching them in the haybarn, it occurred to me that they are noisy; eat anything, anytime; love climbing and jumping, and that Andrew likes to heat butt me in the stomach when he comes out of school. Aha: that must be why we call them kids!
