Here come the girls...

Half day today at work. An eleventh-hour request was made earlier in the week to have the afternoon off as I re-discovered (ne forgot) that the girls were getting in at midday. So I made the first of two trips to the airport at lunch-time as it poured with rain and the second twelve hours later. It hadn't stopped raining at that point either.

Julianna, Emma, Rhian and I go back a few years now, (I won't count them) having grown up together through secondary school. We maybe get to see each-other once a year but we can always just pick up where we left before. In this case, it was mostly wedding talk, since the last time we all got together was Christmas week last year, round the kitchen table at home in Wales, when Em and Rhi both announced their engagements. (Not to eachother though...) The first nuptials take place in September, which is when we'll next get together.
