New acquisition

This is the newest item in our garden. We just got it today: a weeping crab apple, (malus purpurea) 'Royal Beauty'. Riippuomena in Finnish.

We hope it thrives with us and if it does I promise more blips. It's a difficult tree to photograph because it's so narrow and slender, and as the branches droop downwards they don't form a top to speak of. But it has a delicate form and once it grows a little it will be pretty.
