Rose-breasted Grosbeak

After birding and photographing Gooseberry Neck in Westport MA, I stopped by Allens Pond Mass Audubon Sanctuary, where I do volunteer work, discussing birding in the area. Becky recommended the Herb Hatfield Conservation Area as a site to bird. My son and I went there to check it out. It is an excellent spot. Within 5 minutes of arriving we found and photographed Yellow Warbler, American Redstart, and first sighting of the year of a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. I am going back again to check out this area when I do not have a time constraint
