Jet Cut.

The eucalyptus is going to have to come down. Pity, it was a magnificent tree, but the cold winter wasn't kind to it. It struggled on for a bit this spring, but the leaves are almost all gone now and the first high wind will probably take it out anyway. So, better do it in a controlled way. Probably going to happen tomorrow.

Using this as some kind of weird inspirational thing, I went out with a saw and started cutting back some of the other bushes and trees that have grown too big for their bit of the garden. A ribes bit the dust and the holly tree that had grown up through it went too. Now the ash tree at the centre is exposed and all I need is the energy (or a more appropriate saw) to take it down too. This one's good, but it's hard going on anything thicker than my arm!
