Quieter now

It's quieter now - fewer gunshots to be heard, fewer burning tires. There are hopes of a ceasefire, but things are not back to normal. Hardly any traffic, many businesses closed and most disquieting of all, the sky train still isn't running. In the middle of all that, these women still come to work and sit around without customers. The bright colors in the twilight reminded me of more vibrant times. They'll come back, for sure. But for now the sidewalks are empty of the usual tourist throng.
