Lone grey heron

Killingworth Lake near where I live has a huge diversity of wildlife including greater crested grebe, swans, canadian geese, moorehens etc and on ths occassion I was lucky enough to get close enough to this wonderful grey heron standing in the reeds to take this picture. Twenty seconds later and it was gone.
