Not quite a self portrait

I was taking photographs from the train this morning, trying to replicate the effect of a picture I had seen on blip over the weekend. The picture had been taken from a fast moving car, the trees in the foreground a sheer green blur; but in the background a marina or creek where the boats were clearly defined. My iPhone was taking the shots at such a speed there was hardly any bluring even the track looked fairly clear. I took about 30 shots but none of them gave me the effect I wanted. Then I noticed this shadowy self portrait...
