Trip to the Lyngen Alps, part1
On Thursday we did a 3,5 hour climb to the Middagstinden and here are two of my friends Ms.T and Mr.M standing at the top of one northern couloir we are going to ski down soon. The length of the couloir is only 250m so a short but nice ride there.
Mr.M is also showing the place we were going to go for a second round. The climb to the ridge on the left took 1,5 hours and then skied 20mins down to the car we had parked on the bottom of valley.
Lyngen peninsula is quite remarkable place. The mountains are not so high as in the central Europes Alps for instance, but their shape and the fact that they almost start directly from the sea really does the trick for me. And to many other skiers and climbers also.
