Entrance to the underworld

This is a mausoleum that is about 3 miles into a 7 mile walk in Hulne Park near Alnwick.

In one of my earlier pictures I have photographed a metal owl which is part of the elaborate entrance gate and also the view from the Queens seat which was directly behind me at this point. This place is incredibly quiet and unspoilt. Just a wonderful place to sit and contemplate.
