Newton Burn

The Newton Burn runs down from Newtonhill on the Aird, past Inchmore and into the Beauly Firth. During the thaw it was in full spate and much higher although now it is quite low. The woods around it are full of wildlife and currently very green and rich with the scent of wild garlic. It is a really quiet and peaceful place to walk the dogs.
