smoke and light

we went to the swiss science centre earlyish this morning - it's the best time to go and pop in for an hour or so first thing when everyone else is still eating Sunday breakfast - the kids get an hour to have a go on all the things that are usually crowded and I get to read a book sitting on a bench next to the 'liquid percussion' installation, which is my favourite bit (apart from a few other favourite bits). As there was no one much around, Shishi and I did some smoke and light experiments which generally involved me lying on the floor taking photos while she wafted smoke at me and then shone a spotlight right in my eyes. We got some interesting shots.
We went to the 'gas show' which was really great, lots of explosions. Next rainy Sunday, we'll be back there. I love having a season ticket :-)
