First Day Back

As I was walking out the door for my first (half) day back at work, I noted that it had rained the night before. As I wandered over to the flowers across the parking lot, I smiled at their appearance. There's something about beads of water on a flower that I find absolutely stunningly beautiful.

It was all the sweeter this day because I was walking around in the sunshine, on the road to recovery. It really was a marvel of a day, if only for those brief moments before I got to work and was overwhelmed by all the things that needed done.

I'm not irreplaceable, but I am important.
