Furled, and ready to go.

I stopped at the side of the road to photograph some Blubells, as I have been asked to paint some for a friend who is off to Islamabad very soon.
I saw this bud, and was struck by it's unusual look. Almost like an Alien. The afternoon light caught it in a way i could not resist. I have no idea of it's name I am afraid.
