Cheap as muck

Down in south warwickshire for a holiday. I was impressed by the little bits of enterprise in the village we stayed in, all apparently done on a trust basis, where items were left outside, with a box to put money into. One house had second hand books for sale outside, 5p each. Another was selling vegetables and herbs. Somewhere else was selling jars of honey. And this place had, er, bags of muck.
