Bricks, Stairs and More

Today I went on an outing with members of my photo club--the PVPA (Pioneer Valley Photographic Artists) in Northampton's small downtown. Over a hundred potential blips to choose from!

Northampton is full of multistory brick buildings with fire stairs in the rear, with endless variations--barely hinted at in these two images. In the broader Connecticut River Valley (a.k.a. Pioneer Valley) there are many thousands of industrial brick buildings, above all mill factories which took advantage of water power.

The lower image reminds me of the wall mural I blipped nearly two months ago in Paris.
