Attack of the Giant Puff Candy....

.......Owen's star find on the beach at Elie today. It looked for all the world like a rock.

A very pleasent afternoon out with EcoDad along the less than complete Elie Chain Walk. Fortunately, EcoDad had packed his straps and carabinas and the cliff and vertical wall sections could be traversed in safety. We were about 30mins ahead of the advancing tide; any later and we'd be in for a swim on some sections. I never knew this existed and it's the most fun I've had by the sea side in many years - cheers EcoDad.

A break for a cuppa and some beach cooked bacon rolls ("Dad have you got any ketchup?"), before turning back and realising the reverse route was blocked. Fortunately, we could head up and over the cliff top.

On the way home we stopped for ice cream from the local shop in Royston Vasey and visited EcoDads secret allotment, it's a bit like the Bat Cave and so I'm not permitted to say where it is. Hint: Look for the grand mansion atop a cliff with a great door at the base ;0)
