Indian Myna in Samarkand.

The first full day of Mum's and my trip to Uzbekistan. We spent half the day on the road from Tashkent to Samarkand, but had some time to explore in the afternoon. I took lots of classic photos of blue tiled domes, but thought this more interesting - looking more closely at the tiled patterns you could see that birds were finding perches and nest sites on a tile face that from a distance looked flat.
