Ducklings

Experianced the 'having to let go of your child a bit more every day when it's getting older' feeling today. Marc was staying over for the night with a friend who's parents are on a weeks vacation. Should be oke for a 16 year old. But for Marc having PDD-NOS and a mild mental handicap it brings along lots of nerve wrecking concern of his mother, being me.
Last night at eleven I called his cell phone and got no answer. His younger brother Benjamin said that they probably couldn't here the phone because of the loud music.
Probably true, but I couldn't help myself and jumped in to my car to drive by the house of his friend where I saw the lights on. Resisting the urge to secretly look through the curtains I made the short drive home. Hardly had any sleep tonight.
At noon I called with again no answer. By that time I was thinking about taking in his cell phone, whats the use of it anyway! At 15.00 hours I asked Benjamin to have a look, he came back to tell me that they were stil sleeping.
Well at least he was still alive, thank you, thank you.

He came home at 17.00 h. 'Hey Mom, I had a great time! What's for dinner....'

After an hour sleep on the couch I made a walk and spotted two yellow ducklings. They were so fast and I had a lot of trouble getting the camera settings right (due to blurry vision of exhaustion I guess). I liked the photograph where one of the Duckling was drinking most, despite the fact that its not really a sharp shot.

Here's another one with better settings

Btw: @ The Wolf Journal: The texture in the water is a carelessly thrown away folderpakkage, probably the delevery boy (or girl) was making 'easy money'.......
