Music Theory

I ahve ben working my way through this old music theory book my grandad gave me 20+ years ago. It s really good and I wish I could take it all in but I don't play often enough for it to be any real use. I am currently reading a section on which chords can follow which other chords, and the preferable inversions, and conjuctive and disjunctive progressions. I wish I could be arsed to put it into practice :(
