Crown of the Sea
Sorry, but again no funnel picture today. Our position is 120 miles Southwest of Nouakchott and the weather is pretty poor right now. A steady, cold, thirty knot wind from the North makes us feel not so tropical anymore. Lots of wind and an uncomfortable choppy sea. This is not what we are used to. The seawater temperature dropped almost ten degrees in two days. But we are heading north now and this is what we should expect. This afternoon we passed the French fishing vessel 'Corona del Mar', a rather Spanish name for a French vessel. But your fresh fish will probably taste exactly the same next week. The funnels will show up later, in the meantime you have to do it with this one. And by the way; the weather is not foggy as you might think, but it is sand, Sahara sand.
