ONE DAY AT A TIME

Italy: Olive oil - Scotland: Thistles - England: Rose - USA: polished stone

I have arrived at 100 still in a sulk over the two missed days when the server was down. I was too new to know that back blipping existed. Having said that, the last 100 days have ranged from being a great joy to a royal pain. Blipfoto is anything you want it to be and I wanted it to be a daily focal point, a challenge and I wanted to learn something new. In that respect it has been five stars all the way.

I should like to thank Mr. Tree and all those in Auld Reekie for starting the whole thing and for always being accessible and helpful. And thanks, too, to Amro and Gilliebg for advice, and to those who commented on their cameras when asked. The more I learn about cameras, the more confused I get. To find that it is possible to spend £20,000 on a camera positively boggled my mind.

And wow, thanks to all those who have commented, always almost too kind and flattering. I really, really appreciate it. A final thanks to my husband who has gone with me hither and yon in my quest for the perfect photograph. He has a way to go yet.

I see that it is sort of traditional to list own favourite blips. I won't do that because I am not really satisfied with any of them but the two I quite like to look at again are a lush one of a basket of shopping which was done on a rare, sunny day and another of my doctor because it is stark and stylised.

Today's is a bit pathetic but is meant to be symbolic of the countries I love but which have also driven me crazy from time to time, exactly the same as blipping.
