Kiwi Moo's Off To China!

Today D & I had lunch at Caroline Bay, enjoying the sunshine.

When leaving I noticed this blight on the water. After reading the newspaper I am informed.....3,000 dairy heifers leave Timaru today for the sea voyage to China, unfortunately not all will arrive :( All the moo's will be used for breeding & not for slaughter - there is huge demand for dairy cattle.

The dreaded fog has come in during the afternoon, & now it is very cold.
