Jumping for Joy

Asda have trampolines on special offer at the time of writing. So we bought one for our children who have just about outgrown the pedal tractors & toddler slide that have entertained them in the garden up to now.
This is my son looking quite pleased with his new toy. And he should smile. When he was a baby he was diagnosed with Blounts disease, a bone growth disorder. He spent a long time wearing orthotic contraptions to prevent his knees, ankles & feet from moving while the bones were straightened.
The treatment worked, those days are behind us and the best way of preventing the problem from returning is weight bearing exercise.
Bounce boy, bounce.
