Black-Backed Gull from the Back

Spent lunchtime practicing in-flight pictures of birds with the 300mm lens - have to keep trying, as it's an old OS lens and so the focussing is manual. This view directly behind a gull was the best I managed.

I was surprised to see some swifts flying around near our back garden a couple of day back, hopefully on a June evening I'll go out and snap some. I used to love watching them when I was a kid, on summer evenings there seemed to be thousands of them swooping round our housing scheme.
