Liverpool

A really busy day today, Mike picked up his new vehicle, so once the dog guard was fitted (as he didn't want hairs all over the newby) we set off. Barney not impressed at all. He is a real mummy's boy.

Went to so many places today and took so many piccys it was so hard to decide which one to choose.

This one that I have chosen is a view from Seacombe Ferry on the Wirral towards Liverpool.

This view is so different than the one I viewed as a child. Most weekends I would go on the ferry from Birkenhead over to Liverpool. The only original buildings that now remain are, from the far right the Liver Buildings, then St Johns Tower which once had a revolving restaurant but now is the home of Liverpool"s radio station "Radio City". The Atlantic Hotel and the Liverpool Echo Building.

All the other new high rise buildings are where the original dockside warehouses once stood.
