Wild Violets
I was popping down to the assembly workshop today and these little patches of colour on the embankment caught my eye. There's a drystane dyke next to the footpath between the two buildings and behind that there's a bank of earth and rubble, certainly doesn't look much and lot of the earth has slipped over the winter into the car park below. However there are clumps of these violets everywhere. I'm presuming that they have taken root themselves as the rest of it has hardly been landscaped properly unless the designer is into the "barren" look!
