Puzzle Me

This is a fun "puzzle" that I had been working on in art class to pass the time. You are given a series of black and white squares (not pictured) that are labeled with a letter and a number and are out of order. You have to fill the empty grid on the bottom of the page with the abstract design, and it forms a picture! Can you guess what I am working on???
