Bumblebee village
There were dozens of the little fluffy chaps and chappesses sunning themselves on the scrubby patch of land close to home this morning. If you look closely you can see three Bombus lapidarius (Red Tailed Bumblebees) and, I think, two Bombus lucorum (White Tailed Bumblebees) amongst the grasses. I had to pick my way around very carefully so as not to step on any of them.
