Jenever

On my way to the post office today I passed a man who was loading a large box of old jenever bottles into the boot of his car. He was getting ready to join a brocante (see previous blip) this weekend. Jenever is the strong-smelling, juniper-flavored alcoholic drink common to the Netherlands and Belgium. Its local Walloon name is péket. I've never developed a taste for it.
