My apologies to everyone in the Northern Hemisphere, I'm going to join some of the Christchurch contingent in skiting about spring.

A beautiful day in Christchurch today, hopefully it means I may reclaim my kitchen surfaces soon. At present a large section of our kitchen has become a nursery for fledgling herbs and vegetables.

It's still a little cold at night to plant them outside - we had two frosts in the last week.
